The girls i coach who went to HK... level 2s :)
Yesterday, it was back in the gym again. Only half of the girls turned up and we had a really fun and relaxing training... Im so happy that Rhianne managed to do a back handspring by herself!! really fast... we've only been working on it for less than 10 lessons? and Reese, Felicia and Rhianne can stand cartwheel on the low beam... it was only their 1st try yesterday! :D coaching is very rewarding :)

Firstly, Congratulations! to Team Singapore Gymnastics on their oh-SO-FABULOUS and AMAZING performance at the SEA Games!! 4 Golds, 3 Silvers and a Bronze... thats just incredible! :D :D Team Singapore on the whole is doing pretty well too, higher than usual on the medal tally :)
My holidays have been pretty great so far... coaching, shopping, enjoying... feels pretty busy but doing things that i don't get to do much during the school term! went to Bintan last week from wed-fri. The weather wasn't too good but i think we had fun anyways :) my favourite part was sitting in the knee deep sea-water catching fish! :) I actually brought them all the way back to Singapore before realising what a stupid idea that was and dumped them into the sea at the ferry terminal.
We're off to Hong Kong in 2 days!! so exciting!! Last training for the kids tonight! Chu Laoshi and I have been working hard with them, hope they'll do well :) nevertheless, it'll be fun with my favourite girls :) and shopping!

29th November... One day before my dad's birthday, also my old maid's birthday. It's been 8 years since she has left, and i wonder where she is, how she is, is she still well??
Aunty Min took care of me since I was 2 months old, bringing me to kindergarden, walking with my to school everyday while i was in primary school, cooking my meals for me, sitting through my trainings. and later, when i got older i remember coming home from training close to 11pm every night and the 1st thing i would do when i get home is to go to her room to look for her.
She went back to Phillipines when i was 12 (she was 50+ then), and we've lost contact since. I have no idea how to contact her. I think to myself, will the next time we meet be in heaven? The thought both charms and scares me.
Happy Birthday Aunty Min, where ever you are... :) I pray that you know I'm thinking of you... and wishing you well on your birthday.

sometimes, you don't know why some things happen until a loooonng time later. i'm glad i do now, finally.
i've heard time and time again how useful economics is. today, we had a guest speaker for our macroecons class and she repeated this... and she told us how we made the right choice. i totally agree that economics is useful, but despite that, i also realised that it's not for me.

it's a 7-day week in school this week... the thought of it is just so depressing :( but no choice, becos of projects and all... im so excited that my final paper will be over in 5 weeks time! then HK here i (we) come!! :D
been preparing the level 2 girls for the competition... altho its quite challenging, it's super fun! i feel that this is one of the best periods of time i'll have coaching the level 2s... they're young enough to be super cute n learn skills fast and just old enough to listen to instructions much better than they did last year. plus they're used to chu laoshi and my way of coaching and i've also become pretty comfortable working with them after more than a year!
i've gotta skip their training this afternoon cos im going to JB to attend my cousin's wedding! should be interesting ;) but im bringing my macro notes just in case!
take care everyone... and God Bless!
